LPVRP

“I am the Local Pharmacovigilance Responsible Person (LPVRP) in the UK and the main purpose of my role is to protect patients whilst complying with legal and regulatory requirements related to Pharmacovigilance (PV). PV is defined as the science and activities relating to the detection, assessment, understanding and prevention of adverse effects or any other drug-related problem. The PV function achieves this by monitoring the risk-benefit profile of our medicines and taking the necessary actions to improve patient safety. The PV function is at the core of Glenmark’s operations and we keep the patient at heart of what we do.”

Medical Information

“I have extensive experience of Medical Information and related functions in the pharmaceutical industry gained through leadership roles at both national and global levels. This has been within companies of various sizes, including leading multi-nationals. Focus has included integrated working practises and continuous learning processes thereby facilitating the continual optimization of this service.”

Quality

“I am responsible for safeguarding product users against potential hazards arising from poor distribution practices. My role in the Glenmark Quality team is to work with other departments throughout the business and external partners to ensure Glenmark products are handled in accordance with GDP. The remit covers the supply chain from manufacturing sites to our customer ensuring controls are in place to ensure Suppliers and customers are approved.”
